Day 1

Your 3-day Sahara desert tour begins with pickup from your hotel, riad or preferred meeting point in Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, a peaceful town known for its clean streets and alpine-style buildings. Continue to the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques can often be seen. After a break around Midelt, continue through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and panoramic views. Merzouga Desert Region Exploration
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Merzouga desert region at a relaxed pace. Depending on the rhythm of the day, you may also visit nomad families, palm groves or local viewpoints. In the afternoon, prepare for a camel ride across the golden dunes at sunset. Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara dunes before breakfast. After returning from the desert camp, begin the journey back to Fes. Pass through Rissani, a traditional market town, and Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and desert gateway atmosphere. Continue through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas landscapes, with stops for photos and rest along the way. By the evening, arrive in Fes, where your driver will drop you off at your hotel, riad or preferred location.
