   Day 1

   Tangier - Tetouan - Chefchaouen

   Your 5-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech begins with pickup from Tangier airport, port, hotel or preferred meeting point. Start with a short discovery of Tangier depending on your arrival time, with possible stops around the old medina, the Kasbah area or the Atlantic and Mediterranean viewpoints. Continue toward Tetouan, a northern Moroccan city known for its Andalusian influence and white medina. After a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains, arrive in Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City. Spend time walking through its peaceful blue-painted streets, small squares, artisan shops and mountain viewpoints. Dinner and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

   Day 2

   Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

   After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen and travel through beautiful northern landscapes toward Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman archaeological site in Morocco. Explore its ancient columns, mosaics and ruins that reflect Morocco’s Roman past. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you may visit highlights such as Bab Mansour, El Hedim Square and the old medina. Later, travel to Fes, one of the country’s most important cultural and spiritual cities. Depending on timing, enjoy a first walk near the medina before dinner and overnight stay in Fes.

   Day 3

   Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

   After breakfast, depart from Fes and travel toward the Sahara Desert through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture and clean mountain atmosphere, then continue to the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques can often be seen. Travel through Berber villages and mountain landscapes before stopping around Midelt. Continue through the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and panoramic viewpoints, then pass Erfoud, known for fossils and desert gateway scenery. By the evening, arrive in Merzouga near the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay near the Sahara.

   Merzouga - Khamlia - Erg Chebbi - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

   Wake up early to admire the sunrise over the Sahara dunes before breakfast. Depending on the rhythm of the day, visit Khamlia village, known for Gnawa music and its cultural roots connected to the Sahara. You may also discover local desert life around Merzouga before leaving the dunes. Continue through Erfoud and desert towns toward the dramatic Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most impressive natural canyons. Take time to walk between the high rock walls and enjoy the peaceful oasis atmosphere. Later, travel through palm groves and Berber villages toward the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations and scenic landscapes. Dinner and overnight stay in Dades Valley.

   Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

   After breakfast, travel through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves before reaching Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert and known for its film studios. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its earthen architecture, ancient fortified village and cinematic history. After exploring the kasbah, cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, one of Morocco’s most scenic mountain roads. Enjoy panoramic stops along the way before descending toward Marrakech. Upon arrival, your driver will drop you off at your hotel, riad, airport or preferred location.
