Day 1
Your 7-day desert tour from Agadir begins with pickup from your hotel, airport or preferred meeting point. Travel toward Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most famous cities. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first visit of the old medina, colorful souks, Jemaa el-Fna square or other city highlights. In the evening, settle into your riad or hotel and enjoy the atmosphere of Marrakech.
Day 2
After breakfast, leave Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its old earthen architecture and historic kasbahs. After the visit, travel toward Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert. Later, continue through Skoura palm groves and the Rose Valley before reaching the Dades area for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
After breakfast, travel through desert valleys, palm groves and traditional villages toward Todra Gorges, one of Morocco’s most impressive canyon landscapes. Take time to walk between the high rock walls and enjoy the calm oasis atmosphere. Continue through Jorf and Erfoud, known as a gateway to the Sahara, before arriving in Merzouga near the Erg Chebbi dunes. In the afternoon, enjoy a camel ride across the golden dunes at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay near the Sahara Desert.
Day 4
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Merzouga desert region at a relaxed pace. Visit Khamlia village, known for Gnawa music and local desert culture. Continue to Rissani, a traditional market town with a rich caravan history. Depending on the rhythm of the day, you may also visit palm groves, desert viewpoints or local families. In the evening, return to the Erg Chebbi area for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5
After breakfast, leave Merzouga and travel back through Erfoud and the desert road toward Todra Gorges. Enjoy scenic stops along the way and continue through palm valleys, small villages and the Rose Valley region. Later, pass through the Skoura area before arriving in Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight stay in Ouarzazate.
Day 6
After breakfast, leave Ouarzazate and travel toward Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. The route offers beautiful views of mountain villages, valleys and winding roads. Enjoy stops for photos and rest along the way before arriving in Marrakech. After check-in at your riad or hotel, enjoy free time to relax or explore the city at your own pace.
Day 7
After breakfast, leave Marrakech and travel back to Agadir. Depending on your schedule, enjoy a final short stop or free time before departure. Upon arrival in Agadir, your driver will drop you off at your hotel, airport or preferred location. This marks the end of your 7-day desert Morocco tour from Agadir.
