Day 1

Your 4-day Fes to Marrakech desert tour begins with pickup from your hotel, riad or preferred meeting point in Fes. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop in Ifrane, a peaceful town known for its clean streets and alpine-style buildings. Continue to the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where Barbary macaques can often be seen. After a break around Midelt, drive through the Ziz Valley with its palm groves and scenic viewpoints. In the evening, arrive in Merzouga near the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset, then dinner and overnight stay near the Sahara Desert.

Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the Sahara dunes before breakfast. Take time to walk between the high rock walls and enjoy the calm atmosphere of the oasis. Continue toward Dades Valley, known for its rock formations, winding roads and traditional villages. Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech
After breakfast, travel through the Rose Valley and Skoura palm groves before reaching Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the desert. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its old earthen architecture and film history. After visiting the kasbah, cross the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, with scenic stops along the way. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and settle into your riad or hotel.
